The Process

Four steps, entirely in writing.

Submit a request

Tell us what your institution needs, in your own words, through a short written request. Select the category that best fits — leadership and governance, finance and compliance, academic programs, enrollment and communications, or school launch and growth. Include as much or as little context as you'd like; our team will follow up in writing with any clarifying questions.

Edvise curates a shortlist

Our team reviews your request against a vetted roster of solution providers and prepares a short, relevant shortlist — typically two to four options. We do not forward every provider who might be interested; we forward the ones who fit.

Review written proposals

Each shortlisted provider is presented through structured written material: scope, relevant experience, references, and pricing where applicable. You evaluate fit on your own schedule, without sitting through a live pitch or demo.

Engage on your terms

If a provider is a fit, you initiate direct contact when you're ready. If none are, you owe nothing and no one follows up uninvited. Every introduction is opt-in on your side, at every step.

Why Async-First

Because institutional decisions deserve institutional pace.

Live sales calls and scheduled demos are built around the vendor's calendar, not yours. Edvise is built around a written record that respects the time and standards of the people making the decision.

  • Every request, shortlist, and proposal is documented in writing, so there is always a clear record to review, circulate, or revisit.
  • You can evaluate options between meetings, after hours, or across a board cycle — not only when a vendor's calendar allows.
  • Nothing is scheduled, pitched, or demoed live. There is no pressure created by a synchronous conversation.
  • A written process is easier to share with a board, cabinet, or leadership team for collective review.

In Practice

Every stage leaves a paper trail.

A request, a shortlist, a proposal — each one exists first as a written document, not a conversation you have to reconstruct from memory afterward.

That's what makes the process easy to share with a board, a cabinet, or anyone else who needs to weigh in.

What To Expect

Standards that apply at every stage.

No calls or demos

Edvise does not schedule phone calls, live demonstrations, or sales meetings on your behalf, at any stage of the process.

Vetting before introduction

Providers are reviewed for relevance and standing before they are ever included in a shortlist sent to a member.

A one-business-day standard

Our team responds to written inquiries within one business day. See our support standards for detail.
